* A mandatory word of caution: there is always a small chance that something will not work. Android quite stable and well tested today but it is likely that you will not be able to recover, so copy the things you can not afford to lose a place before you start and make sure you’re OK with losing the rest in case something is wrong. Please note that your contact and listing application has been supported into the cloud by Google, so you do not need to return them separately.

Material

The steps above and backup / restore itself explained more detailed below.

Step 1. Root Your Phone

Rooting is a process of obtaining full access to all functions of your phone. Think of it as unlocking your phone and allow it to do whatever you want (except for flying – let’s not try that one).
We have a complete explanation of the most important benefits that come with your Android phone rooting here.
You need root to do full backups as unrooted phone will not only provide adequate access application to do so.
Because the roots of each different phone, the easiest way to find out the right way for your model and version of Google’s Android will only “root YOUR PHONE-YOUR-TEEN-android.”

Step 2. Install BackupN Nandroid

Nandroid is an application capable of making a complete picture of your phone and restore from their snapshots.

There are various ways to get Nandroid to your phone and here we will use the simplest of all approaches – using the applications manager ClockworkMod ROM also comes with a large number of other useful things. This can only be used on mobile devices is rooted, which is why the first step necessary.
This is the easiest part. HRM, in retrospect, everything described here is very easy, but installing applications from the Android Market – what could be easier?

1. Market access Android Market app loading.
2. Search for “ROM Manager.”
3. Install Manager ClockworkMod ROM.
And now you’re done with step 2. Did I mention this is the last step?

Back Up Your Phone

Now we can perform the actual backups.
Reserve itself will take approximately 50-10 minutes and will produce a new timestamped directory on the SD card. This directory will contain all the files needed for recovery – they include your full backup.
Here, I’ll give you a preview what a full backup be seen as:

One-time Setup

Now, before we can return to the top, we need to install a special Recovery Images for your phone. Do not worry – ROM Manager do it for you automatically by simply pressing a button.

Important: unplug the USB cable during this step, because some users have reported problems while mounted flashing recovery (thanks DennGir and others).

Picture recovery which contains a boot loader to replace your original boot loader. Boot loader gives you the ability to run backup and restore commands Nandroid outside the OS. It also allows you to install ROM but we will not do that today. Because the OS can not return itself to the brim while walking, Manager ROM will reboot into the boot loader to perform the operation Nandroid.
Restoration of images varies from one phone to another model, and ROM Manager automatically figures out where you need. Recovery of this image is not created by one person – there is a big community effort behind them, and Manager ROM only bring together in one package that is easy to use. Alright, just shout – let us go there.

Warning: The images flashing most likely void your warranty recovery

* Recovery ClockworkMod Flash Select.
* Confirm your phone model is detected.
* Hang on a minute to download.

Setup only once finished.
